Meet Filipa Amaro, FOP's new Blog Writer

Hi! I am Filipa, a 23 year old woman from the picturesque town of Alcácer do Sal, and I'm driven by a deep passion for uncovering Portugal's treasures. I completed my bachelor's degree in Journalism at Escola Superior de Comunicação Social - Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa and I began my journey into the world of work by coordinating and editing a book of historical photographs of Alcácer do Sal. Now, writing for the Friends of Portugal blog, I aim to show everyone the beauty and potential of my beautiful small country. I can say that my work is characterized by a commitment to authenticity and a love for the subtle beauty of everyday life. When I'm not writing, you can find me reading a book or crocheting (I know, grandma hobbies!).
